1. There are thousands of different religions in the world, and in the vast majority of cases people follow the dominant faith of the culture they were born into. Is it not arrogant and self-centred to think that your faith is the “true” one and all the others are false?
2. What is the point of prayer? Surely your god knows what you are going to pray for beforehand – and has already decided on his course of action. Is it not absurd to think that you can persuade god to change his mind?
3. Why does god insist that you worship him? Is he insecure – or an egomaniac?

The bible is full of contradictions – explain how, even with just the small and fairly insignificant contradiction above, the bible can be the infallible word of god.

d. “And God set them [the stars] in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth”. We know that the stars are not set in anything, and they are rather more than just light-givers (particularly as most cannot even been seen from earth). Why is god so ignorant about his own creation?

If God created hell, he’d have to know about eternal torment, meaning God is tormented. If God created humans, and humans are imperfect, God is imperfect.

As an avid Christian who reads the bible daily, I can vouch for the fact that absolutely NONE of this “logic” has any root there.
The only one of these bands that could be considered Satanic is Slayer, and that’s only a few of their songs. Metallica frontman James Hetfield was born and raised Christian, and Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine is a born again Christian. Both of these bands offer prayers to God before playing on stage. To condemn an entire genre of music as Satanic is ridiculous. It is the ignorant Christian extremists like those of this site who give Christians a bad name.
Even if all of the bands were Satanic and promoting the things stated above, the way this site goes about attacking it is very Un-Christian. In fact, the bible does not condone attacking other people and demeaning others for their behavior:

I think you got it all wrong. Metallica has a couple of nice ballads. 1 was dedicated to the memory of James Hetfield’s mother (his parents were believers of Christian Science) and another was dedicated to the late bass guitarist Cliff Burton who died in a bus accident. I also went to a Metallica conceert once and just stood there and enjoyed their music. Furthermore, I listen to this type of music all the time and I do not engage in any type of illegal or sinful activities at all. In all my life, i have never done anything illegal, with the exception of one thing and this was when i was 4 years old and before i started listening to this music, and that was i stole a toy from a department store when i was with a babysitter. as soon as i came home, my mother noticed i stole it and brought me back to the store to return it, they were grateful enough to accept it back, yet insisted i keep it. my mother was disgusted with them and told them that allowing me to keep it won’t be teaching me anything except that stealing is good. By the way, i am very close to my mother. she and i talk almost all day, everyday. In conclusion, my point is just because people listen to this type of music makes them bad people. You are just being hypocritical. Thank you for your time.

The “Big 4″ is NOT a festival praising Satan. The “Big 4″ is referring to the 4 biggest names in thrash metal. Being Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, and Anthrax.
Metallica – NOT really considered an anti-Christian band. In fact, a lot of their lyrical content (see: Creeping Death) is pulled straight out of the Bible.
Slayer – While portraying the facade of Satanism, they really are not. Even Televangelist Bob Larsen spent a few weeks on tour with Slayer and came to the conclusion that they are NOT genuinly satanic. Their name comes from an old fantasy movie called Dragonslayer. I’m also pretty sure one of their members was married to his wife in a Catholic church.
Megadeth – If any of you did any bit of research for your ‘expose’, you failed miserably with Megadeth. Band leader Dave Mustaine is a devout Christian, and refuses to let his band play on the same bill as a satanic act.
